Ambidextro is a fast-paced 2D puzzle-platformer with intense action elements, wrapped in retro pixel-art and set in a haunting dark-fantasy world. You play as a royal wizard split into two entities: a Yellow Side and a Purple Side. These two halves must cooperate to rescue the prince and princess—and ultimately, reunite before time runs out in each level.

The core mechanic of Ambidextro revolves around simultaneous dual-character control. The Yellow Side is controlled with the left stick and a jump button, while the Purple Side is operated with the right stick and a separate jump button. Each level lasts around 20–30 seconds, demanding quick thinking and even faster reflexes. As you progress, the levels evolve from simple platforming to complex coordination challenges involving disappearing platforms, spring pumps, quantum jumps, reversed controls, and character-swapping mechanics.
